Archistoire© is an application that provides augmented visits.

The application geolocates you and notifies you of the presence of remarkable sites nearby. Move your phone and explore the surroundings at 360°. Borrowing from both augmented reality and virtual reality codes, Archistoire operates on a principle of interactive photospheric panoramas.

Touch the interactive areas on the screen and access exclusive content related to the perceived elements: architectural details, historical anecdotes, landscape reading, sounds, videos, etc. Thanks to virtual reality, you can also enter places that are inaccessible to the public.

Archival photographs, old postcards, paintings or engravings are superimposed on the real image, creating a "time window" effect that immerses you in ancient or recent history.

You dont have the possibility to go there? Are you simply curious to discover these emblematic places from your sofa? The experience is optimized for "IRL" use but the application can also be used remotely, so enjoy it!

Once downloaded to the smartphone, the application works without the need for an internet connection.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. Remember to activate the localization service on your smartphone
2. Go to remarquables sites of the city
3. Uncover their story by using your Smartphone 360°.
4. Have a nice walk :-)
